Homeless and Wounded Warriors — MN held its annual ice fishing raffle this January to raise more money and support for local wounded veterans and their families in times of need. We are proud to support this as our worthy cause and enjoy attending its many annual events. And few things get more “Minnesotan” than ice fishing!

HWW Chairman Russ Philstrom announced that recent donations and fundraising events have made it possible for two military families to receive custom, handicap-accessible vans for their challenging yet everyday needs. And Your Home Sold Guaranteed Realty Exclusive’s team made direct donations and helped wrap Christmas presents for another local family that simply needed a little support to make the holiday special for their children.

Of course, several more veterans’ organizations and charitable efforts have partnered to raise even more money, including the Aitkin, Ironton and Crosslake American Legions, Garrison VFW and Aitkin DAV, among many others.
